+Dena Posted November 3, 2011 Share Posted November 3, 2011 A Lab and a Rott were surrendered to the shelter this week by their owner. I was able to find someone to take in the Rottie through my contacts, but they can't take the Lab. I hate leaving one behind. Please, if you know of anyone looking for a sweet, somewhat older dog, have them go down to Town Lake Animal shelter on Cesar Chavez and adopt this boy. The shelter is over full right now, not yet having to put dogs to sleep, but he could go at any moment. The Lab is between 5-7yrs old. He'll be current on shots and is already netuered. His owner posted him on Craigs List before bringing him to the shelter. She said he was a pretty laid back boy. I'm attaching his photo.
