sharkbait33
Ok, so I have 3 aquariums in my room and I'm getting ready to paint it, am I going to have to remove the fish tanks from my room to spare my lil guys harm from fumes? Or is it ok to keep them in the same room while I paint?
cmanning
During the fall, when it was sunny and cool, we open the windows and turned on the kitchen exhaust fan and also we add some fans to blow out any fumes when we painted the ceiling and polyurethane trims and doors. I don't know about doing this during the summer. In our experience it helped in the fall, the temp on our tanks stayed steady while it was cool outside. Good ventilation and cool climates may help. Sushi
I'd at the very least cover the tanks with painter's tarps or cloth... just incase. -Kat
+dapettit
How did the painting go? We are about to paint an accent wall where we currently have our 29 and was wondering if you had any problems or advice?
sharkbait33
How did the painting go? We are about to paint an accent wall where we currently have our 29 and was wondering if you had any problems or advice? I held off on the painting for awhile, my initial plan was just to wait until it got a little cooler. But I just bought a larger aquarium and it's in another room. So, I'm in the process of moving my fish to a diff room before i begin painting.
+dapettit
Kewl, I will be paintin this weekend. I think if I leave the windows and doors open with a couple of fans blowing out I should be ok. And I will cover the tanks as well.
