jonny125
I have something growing in my sump, I don't know what it is. And should i leave it in the sump or move it to the tank? Thanks Jonathan
Gonzobob
Looks like an aptasia anemone a nusence. Plenty of information available on getting rid of.
pbnj
You definitely don't want to move Aiptasia into your display tank. They can reproduce rapidly and quickly get out of control.
wa1tx
Kill it! If you do not want to use chemicals or additives get a syringe of fresh lemon juice or vinegar and shoot it up. Worked for me.
+etannert
Aptaisia are actually great for filtration, better even than chaeto, it's just a matter of whether you want to take the chance of it migrating up to the tank (i wouldn't, personally). But if you keep it definitely leave it in the sump...
