Dena Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 I love this tank and tried to work around keeping it, but I just bought Gabe's 84g and hubby is making me sell the 30g. I have a use for the 30g, but that's doesn't matter and I can only win so many battles with him So...this tank was custom made by a member of another forum in San Antonio. I'm not parting out. I originally paid $420 for the tank, stand, sump and one pc light a year ago. For $450 this is what you get: Tank is 24Wx18Dx15 1/2T - I bought this used and it has a few scratches on it that aren't as noticeable when clean. Stand is a dark stained wood...with the tank on it is 49" tall. The stand goes up the back of the tank to hide the plumbing and is 22 1/2" deep. This is a nice sleek look, just needs a little cleaning right now. It also has a little area where you can place a light over the refugium area. Also has that metal arm that holds the light over the tank and swivels. Sump...has four chambers and includes return pump and all plumbing. One 96W Coralife PC. Another PC with moonlights...bulbs need to replace and I can't remember the name. Tunze Nano skimmer. Any extra test kits I happen to have. This does not come with sand or live rock...all was moved to my new tank. Nothing wrong with the tank, but I've noticed some salt creep in a couple spots so I planned on resealing them (very minor job around the input pipe) when I cleaned it. So you get all this for $450, BUT...if you want to clean it (algae on the glass, some sand still in the main tank that needs to be rinsed out...normal used tank stuff) and reseal the areas yourself then I will take $400. Must pick up! Quote
offroadodge Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 so i guess the tank is acrylic? and $400 for tank? I need a frag tank, sure is tempting but...i'll have to thnk about it. Quote
Dena Posted February 21, 2011 Author Posted February 21, 2011 Tank is glass. It's got some sort of plastic (can't remember the name) on the bottom of it to protect the glass also. The overflow is on the upper back...like a calflo Oh...also has a heater and an algae scraper. Quote
Dena Posted February 21, 2011 Author Posted February 21, 2011 Some more pics throughout the time I had it set up... I really wanted to keep this for the stuff I caught at the coast, but Jason wasn't having it. I have another 20g all in one and he isn't even happy I'm keeping that one for the coast stuff. I'm only partly spoiled you see - LOL Quote
Dena Posted February 21, 2011 Author Posted February 21, 2011 I have a frag rack that is just a home made job out of acrylic that I can throw in also...and two black ones that stick to the sides of the tank. They don't hold on the 84g because the acrylic is almost an inch thick. Quote
Dena Posted February 23, 2011 Author Posted February 23, 2011 Will lower it to $350 uncleaned or $400 cleaned, and with an AquaC skimmer (works great) instead of the tunze. Quote
Dena Posted February 25, 2011 Author Posted February 25, 2011 Final price drop...$300 with everything as is...both skimmers! Quote
Dena Posted February 27, 2011 Author Posted February 27, 2011 Give me a call Hamp...698-seven, one, nine, two Quote
Dena Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 Tank hasn't been picked up due to buyers time issues....so it's still available. Quote
Dena Posted March 8, 2011 Author Posted March 8, 2011 I have a phosban reactor I can throw in also...no pump, just the reactor with some tubing. Quote
