GKarshens Posted February 20, 2011 Share Posted February 20, 2011 This sump was built by Brian Carlisle at Kingfish. It is built in 2 sections for easier install removal in a stand. One side has the return/fuge section (which has rock rubble in it) and the other is the skimmer/overflow area. Baffles are built into the area that bulkheads the 2 together. It worked beautifully on my old 125g. It didn't fit under the stand on the latest tank so that is why it is separate. The dimensions are 48" long x 14" front to back x 17" tall. The actual usable volume is about 30g. It used to have a tray for a filter sock, but I routed it out to give room for a bigger skimmer. The skimmer section will fit a skimmer with a footprint up to 13" x 18.5". I will also include 2 5g jugs.
