diabeetus Posted December 13, 2010 Share Posted December 13, 2010 I am about to buy an 01 chevy silverado with a fleet side bed. i really want a step side bed, but one of the only reasons i chose this truck over some of the other step side trucks i was looking at was the extremely low miles and how well taken care of it was. so i decided i will buy this truck and trade/sell my bed for a step side bed. if interested but worry about how much work it will be, its actually really easy to do. with atleast 2 people, you can get the job done in 3 hrs. and my dad paints cars, so i could have the color changed on the bed easily if needed. both fleet side beds and step side beds can be costly, but you wouldnt have to spend any money with an even trade. the bed on the truck i am getting has a few little dents in it, but i plan on getting the bed in perfect condition by the end of the month if possible. call me or pm me for any questions Corey five12 968 O44seven Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
