Robb in Austin
Howdy all! I recently picked up a lawnmower blenny and he is not taking forzen/pellets/flakes and is getting very skinny. Does anyone have some nori that I could have a sheet of to see if he'll eat it? Or I'll pay you $1 for it. Or donate some Xenia/Anthelia/GSP. Thanks in advance, Robb
caferacermike
It's only like $2 at HEB
Robb in Austin
Yeahbut.... I don't want to spend $2 and not be able to use it. And, the only nori I've seen at HEB is roasted, which is not what I need.
Toxiq Reef
Mine eats the roasted $2 variety
Robb in Austin
Thought the roasted variety was verboten.
Toxiq Reef
I'm less of a listener, more of a do-er, I'm not one to be all spendy on fish foods, "specialized" for aquari., No detrimental side effects in my tank, idk, just offering my opinion
innate1
+1 that's what I use and the fish love it.
Robb in Austin
Thanks for the info. So far, he's ignored it from what I can tell.
+Melissa
Mine took to it once he saw others eating on it, and once its been soaking for a while. Hopefully he takes to it too.
bluefish84
I buy all kinds of nori or kelp from any Asian grocery store (very cheap), dried and non-tinted kind, some still with ocean salt on it. Mix small pieces in the food I make (doing that way for years) and they all get eaten. Just adding variety in diet. My lawnmower blenny liked it floating by, until it was done in by a bully. caferacermike
Robb lets be honest for a sec ok? Would you rather eat your Nori raw or roasted. Thought so. So would your fish.
