Maxima
However...today I caught one of my emerald crabs tearing and eating my torch coral. Did I miss something? If anyone knows how to catch emerald crabs please let me know.

Will
was your torch otherwise healthy?
medi
I caught two of mine eating the polyps on my SPS. I know everyone says they are reef safe, but I don't trust those crabs any longer. They all now reside in my sump. As far as how to catch them; I just waited until they came out to where I could grab them and then finessed them off of the rock. Will
were they the green, red, or brown kind?
+mcallahan
they are reef safe. I have 10 of them and everything in my tank is fine. Chances are they were eating the torch b/c they had nothing else to eat and are hungry. You can catch them by putting a piece of shrimp or krill on your sand bed and letting them run out to eat on it. Grab 'em and they are gone
Derekreefer
I have two and they don't bother anything but Algae. I think one is from Rockin Reefs, the other is from AquaDome
absolut_racer
I had always heard that they were opportunistic feeders...

mFrame
Mine will chase sheet algae pieces if dangled in front of their hiding place. you could easily lead them into an open space, cup, or container this way.
