Teresa
Hi Will, Can you pm your address? I am able to swing by this afternoon if that works - or later this evening. I don't have much to offer, but let me know if any of the following are of interest: frag of yellow sea fan or frag of ORA green pocillopora (from Steven's 440gal tank). Will
Is the yellow sea fan photosynthetic? if so i would love a small frag of that. If not, a small frag of pocillopora would be great. how much halimida do you want?
Teresa
Hi Will, The sea fan is not photosynthetic, which is why I am having difficulty with it. I am on my way to Pflugerville right now - what part of town do you live in? I was thinking of using it in a refugium in a 12 jbj nano. So however much is good for that. Unless this particular plant is not good for that?
Will
this particular plant needs to be in sand, and likes to attach to rock. i currently have mine in my display. they also build their bodies out of calcium, so they have similar calcium requirements as sps corals. http://reefkeeping.c.../nftt/index.php also i live off 38th and duval in the north UT campus area. Im going to austin tomorrow and picking up a chiller in the i35 - 45 area between 9-10 tomorrow morning, so i can exchange then if need be. i will be back on sunday as well (preferred). Teresa
Thanks for the link . I think I will wait until my nano is established and then add it - especially since it will need particular nutrients.
