Blue Tang Beat Up

Today, I walked in and found my tiny tang stuck to the side of my Vortech M10... i do not have it full speed so it has never been an issue... when i pulled him off, I saw that his back side was pretty mangled... he is weak and having trouble swimming... I have him in a isolated net... anything I can do to help him... maybe see if he can recover?

Tang did not make it.... what would have done this? are my other fish safe?

Could have been a weak fish to start and the injury was done as it spent time sucked against the vortec. Or the other tang beating it up would be top on the list of fish suspects. Tangs are territorial and can be very aggressive. The less space they have the more likely they are to display such behavior. A 57g is too small for one tang, let alone two. They are 100g and up fish.

Sorry you lost your fish. I hate it when I loose a critter.

I noticed you described your tang as "tiny" - from what I've heard, when tangs are very small they are extremely delicate and susceptable to disease - maybe this had something do do with it.
