+ACampbell
How many people will buy a gem tang for 10K? This hobby can be as expensive as you want it to be.
Derek
I wouldn't pay that much for one. Carpet anemones are not exactly known for their survivability. I usually draw the line at about $100 for a living thing. If it is over that it better have a guarantee that it won't die for a while and it better have a life span of 10 or more years. Christian
Ok so who would buy a $400 anemone?
Brooks
Ok so who would buy a $400 anemone? I think the most common answer you'll get would be "Not me." Anemones are hard to care for, carpet Anemones in particular have a record for being very touchy specimens. Many would find the risk too high to purchase one. As for me? I wouldn't. +mcallahan
People do. Vivid aquariums sold 3 in one week when I talked to them once. Oh and blue ones sometimes go for $600. You gonna get one Christian?
Christian
I might get a few eventuly but I don't have a big tank to hold them in right now. I think the little guys are a spectacular species. If you decide to upgrade and keep the Carpet 'Nems, post pictures!!

The only way my tank would look cooler than Clint's is if I made everyone do acid before they looked at it.
