polarbear
so i successfully added both of my clown fish into the 29 gallon biocube. Now the problem is they are both hosting the brain coral and cauing it to stay closed up. This was not happening when the small clown was in there by himself. should i be worried or will the brain coral adjust with time to both of them being around it? Also, how do i remove coraline algae from the circulation pump? i got a used one and want to take all the old off before putting it in my tank. barderer
I would put something else for them to host in. They will damage the coral over time if they are aggressively defending the host. I would use diluted HCL(muratic acid) to clean your pumps. Or any other moderately strong acid diluted in water.
