  1. If you are not going to have coral a fuge is not that important. When I had my 29 gallon reef tank I used the Remora C HOB skimmer and it worked very well! I had the skimmer a powerhead, temp probe, and heater in the tank. I used T5s and was able to grow birdsnest and zoas really well. I did not have anemone at the time though. That might be pushing it. Anemones need very high water quality and a tank with a volume of less than 29 gallons swings to low quality very quickly. I am talking in hours in of over feeding you could get an algae bloom whereas it may take days in a 90 gallon, if the uneaten food is not consumed or removed.

Also evaperation on a smaller tank is a killer on salinity. I would also venture out to say if you have lights powerful enough to sustain an anemone then your evap will probably be very high too. With my four T5 I would lose about a gallon every three days or so.

    Hope this helps

  2. No problem Rashard, I will have one for you!

Brooks, thanks for the info. I don't think it is a Leng Si though. After your post I did a search and it appears most of the Leng Si are either purple rim or blue rim (which I would love to get my hands on)! This monti is green all the way to the rim, but it sure looks nice when it is growing.

  3. Very nice true green colored cap. I have had this growing since it was smaller than these frags. This is the first time I have ever taken any frags from the cap. The mother colony cups and layers. These SPS Frag are $10 each. I will take pay pal if interested, however, you will have to cover the fee or gift the money. This is the brightest green cap I have ever seen!

Does anyone know whats going on with the second picture being under the signature line? It wont let you select it either.

Pictures were taken with cell phone so I will add better ones soon.

  4. If anyone else is interested I can cut more frags of the green birdsnest. I have always had good luck with growth of this SPS. This has green polyps, if you would like to see a better picture go to vividaquariums.com and look at the ORA Sreaming Green Birdsnest.

  5. I had to give a big thanks to John from reef cleaners! I placed an order over the long MLK weekend then sent him an email about shipping. John promptly responded to each of my messages and we coordinated the best shipping option for me. He answered every question I had and the whole process was very smooth. I will be ordering from reef cleaners again soon!

Reef Cleaners is what a true customer service business is all about!
