Hello everyone. My husband and I have a 75g saltwater tank that had live sand , live rock and fish. Setup for 2 years. My mother in law came down on vacation and is mental ill. One day we left for a hour can home and she had put bananas , oatmeal, tortilla chips and worms in the tank all the fish died and now were trying to fix then problem. But as you all can imagine we had to completely take all the water out because you couldnt see throught the tank. So we having to re start cycle because we couldnt save the water. We are not sure if the rocks and sand are died right now the rocks are growing moled. My question would be can we save them and what should we do. Is there anything that can bring them back to life or can we boil them to take all the bad bactiria off them. We have about 80 pounds of rock i would hate to have to lose all that as we have already lost alot. Please if anyone can help or have any idea please let me know. I am so upset our fish were our pets just like a dog.
