A&J, from a licensed freon tech (me), you need to find the leak first. Freon doesn't get used up, it leaks. If you don't find the leak, you'll constantly be recharging.

ok well its not a big chiller not sure where to look... you down south by chance???

Nah sorry way north. If there was some freon in it you could try spraying every braze/connection with soapy water and see if it bubbles.
