  1. Unfortunately my wife is the one requesting no natural wood colors, I may consider painting later but figured I would try the route with the least amount of modification. Also caferacermike's aquarium, though amazing is way out of my price range for this venture. Thanks for the help you all and I am still on the hunt, so if you know any leads or have an extra setup you want to get rid of let me know. Thanks again you all, Cameron
  2. I am looking to buy a decently sized (55 gallon and up) aquarium and stand, I would prefer no natural wood colors. I am considering getting back in to the hobby though only freshwater, so if you have any freshwater accessories like filters etc that would be a bonus. So if you have some stuff you are willing to part with PM me or leave a message in this post with a picture if possible and what you are asking for it. Thanks and have a good day.
  3. Well I really wish there a way I could be sure, I talked to the previous owner and he said he was sure it was tempered...I just wish there was a way I could be positive of it. Does anyone know if there is a way to find out other than by trial and error?

  15. I have posted a few other times(you can track my story) quick version: A/C went out yesterday, tank got hot, caught it in time, icing down the tank to keep it at a reasonable temperature, lost two fish and ALL CORALS, inverts, live rock, and other fish seem fine but I am having to ice down the tank to keep it at 82 degrees( won't be fixed until Wednesday they said)...can't do this forever so if you are interested in any of the following make an offer.(lesson to be learned...never set up a large saltwater tank when you rent a house) Medium sized porcupine puffer Large Black and white percula Medium sized Scribbled rabbit fish(had an accident with my puffer about 7 months ago and face was bitten a little when he took food out of his mouth) green chromis A LARGE(not kidding) Tiger cowrie whatever hermits and snails you can catch Smaller Niger Trigger whatever doesn't go I will be taking to Aquatek at the end of the day... you can call or text 2104220534 I live in Central Austin near Lamar and Airport
  16. Tank accident yesterday after the A/C went out sent my temps pretty high and lost most of my corals and have decided to quit saltwater fish keeping all together(WAY TOO STRESSFUL). Inverts and featherdusters are still alive so I figure and hope that the live rock is ok. If you want to buy it you are more than welcome to make an offer and take the featherduster as well. You can take the sand as well the chaeto algae I was growing in the refugium. This is a tank that is 3 years old and well established.
  17. I will try to be there, Jake at River City let me know about this site and am just going through everyone's pictures and there are some pretty amazing tanks! Can't wait to get some tips and ask a bunch of questions!!!
  18. I just found out about this club and have been a member of saltwaterfish.com for some time and am happy to join. It is pretty cool to see a club like this in Austin. Hopefully see you all around, Cameron
