Hi y'all!
I'm a former reef addict and member of ARC who had a 90g mixed reef tank, but had to get out of the hobby 5 years ago.
Anyways, life is opening up again and I'm itching to get back in the reef hobby, but in a more scaled down version. I would like to try a bio / nano cube sized AIO and keep zoas, shrooms, anemone, pair of clowns and some blennies, and maybe an acan and/or clam. I look forward to re-learning from y'all and getting back in to the hobby.

DIY version is much better than the Neptune version IMO. I can help, and I still have a few DIN cables left too.

Will be out of town.

I'll be there.

I have 2 questions for you. I'm having trouble figuring out the purpose of the Tee on you return line that goes through a gate valve back into the sump? And less importably , what is the brown stuff in the upside down 2liter soda bottle?
1) The T is to bleed off flow from the return pump and allows the amount of water returned to the display to match the flow which comes thru the overflow.
2) I was trying to hatch brine shrimp.

I believe for the scuba cruise it's being organized by the scuba shop independent of the cruise line. YMMV

The website for the cruise lists the outfits they use.

Hmm, would there be any conflict since the scuba trip is being organized by SA Scuba Shack?
If no ARC members can go, you should post on Scubaland's Facebook site asking for a roommate. Or I can do it for you.

Hi y'all!
The Austin Scuba Meetup is coordinating this 7-day scuba cruise from Houston to Cozumel, Roatan and Belize. Departs Sunday, February 22, 2015 and returns Sunday, March 1, 2015. Currently $499 for interior cabin (double occupancy) + $400 for all dives.

I'm hoping to go if I can find a roommate.

Marineland Eclipse 12 gal aquarium:
Complete w/ extra hood (has a ballast too) and bulb. It was fully functional when I stored it away many moons ago, but it looks like there's an area w/ new hairline cracks on the front, so not sure the integrity of the tank anymore. Confirmed that the ballast/bulb works in the hood.
Marineland Eclipse 3 gal aquarium:
Missing pump and "tray" combo (see the 12, I think pump went out). Hood has working ballast and bulb. Spare bulb. Likewise has a few hairline cracks.
So great for parts. You must take BOTH!

Gone.

Ahh, see this is where a co-op of sorts would come in handy. No one jumped on my Apex control module co-op idea, however, one member has already benefited that I have a spare.

Nice tank. I'm probably 6 months out from pulling the trigger to start. Not sure if new is a must have yet.
