sea horse

The add says it comes with a 30 gallon tank! If this add is real then someone needs to give it a good home that knows how to take care of it! Although this add does seem pretty unbeliveable.

I eventualy want to get a 150-180 gallon setup so I am wondering how much one tipacaly costs. How much is the one at Austin Aquariums?

This one has been good never hurt anything and stayed in the same place for over a month. (untill he out grew the hole he had his foot in)

It needs to be somthing that will do ok with 4.5 PC watts per gallon. Although I will be upgrading to 5.2 PC watts per gallon soon. Somthing colorerfull and not too pricy. Anyone have anything?

I touched one of the things with some tweezers and it stuch to the tweezers and then retracted into the rock. This rock looks totaly dead though! And when I bought the tank it only had pc lighting so how could it survive this long?

No, there not spaggetie worms. I'll try feeding it. The things are almost always visible but they get longer at night. (not as long as the ones in the picture though)

I have an old rock that came with the tank that looked like a dead maze brain but every once and a while something that look like the things in the picture pop out of the rock. Does that mean that it is still alive?!

Does anyone want a condi anemone? His tenticals areapp. 6'' long and he is brown/tan with pink tips. I also am looking to sell my green pin coushin sea urchin. He is app. 6'' in diamiter. How about $9 each? If no one wants them I will just turn them in at the fish store for credit.

This is not a sea horse tank but I think why it has such low flow is because it is a Jebo and I think it is supposed to be used for fresh water. The only coral I have right now is a tiny pink mushroom and a zoo rock. I tested the water right after I turned on the lights and right before I turned them off for the night and PH was just as low both times! I think I would have an algey problem if I didn't have so many algey eating critters, but I think that is because I have old PC bulbs. (need to replace them soon) I only top off the water when it looks low. Usualy about once a week. I am adding Kent Marine Liquid Calcium along with some other minerals.

I test it around noon. What is kalk? Is that buffer? Don't know my other paramaters yet. (only bought the PH test kit) but a while back I whent to Aquatek and they said my Alklinity was good but my PH was too low, and it still is. Nope, don't have a sump.

I'm near William Cannon and Manchaca.

I don't think that I should add buffer because the Alklinity is where it is supposed to be. Could low flow be the culprit? I only have 3x turnover in my 25 gallon. dontknow.gif
