Brittle Starfish has been rehomed. Thanks!
-
No pics. It looks like a regular ol' green brittle sea star. He hides in the rocks, so not very photogenic. Perfect for a tank with larger fish, as I think he is responsible for some missing smaller fish. BTW... I am in South Austin, off of South 1st, North of Ben White/South of Oltorf.

Hunter from Aquadome mentioned to me last week that they are working on a website. FYI.

I'm opening a pre-school in South Austin and am looking for
1. a fence guy to put up about 300 linear feet of cast iron fencing,
2. someone that builds wood playscapes,
3. someone that can level a piece of property that is filled with old leaves and some plants.
4. someone that sells and delivers large quantities of mulch. I'll be adding mulch and use it as a playground.
If you know of anyone that is good and decently priced please send me a pm. Peace!

The problem I have is when the pump stops the water from the tank returns through the pump hose (reverses), so I get in my sump as much water that it drains from the top of the tank. Once the water drains out to where the return valve is (which is a lot), then it stops. Does this make sense? The u-tube will maintain it's water and start working once the container re-fills with water.

Where are you located?

I'd like a small 8-10 gallon biocube to use as a seahorse tank. PM me know if you have one. Thanks!

Thanks for all the corals! You're great!

I hope this doesn't offend dog lovers, but I need to re-home my 3 year old mini-schnauzer, Akila. She is sweet and loving, but I can't keep her where I have moved. I'm asking for a good home and would like some nice corals or fish in exchange to put in my 75g tank.
She's got all her shots, is spayed, is microchipped, and has a 5 month supply of Frontline flea and heartworm treatment. Let me know if interested.

Don't mean to be a downer, but... I was at the coast a couple of weeks ago. I went snorkeling and found a medium size hermit crab. He made it back and was active in my tank. However, days later all my livestock started dropping off. I couldn't figure out if it was ick or something else. As a result, I lost a blue tang, dog face puffer, a pair of nice size saddleback clowns, a pair of percula, 2 gobies, 3 chromis, and various invertebrates. I took him out when I first started losing fish, but the others still died. The survivors include a six line wrasse, 3 chromis, a fox face, and a lawnmower blenny. I have various corals (mostly frags) and they are all doing fine. They may even be happier with all the livestock gone.
Anyhow, I'm not sure if the crab had anything to do with it, but it all happened when I put him in there. FYI.

FOWLR = Fish Only With Live Rock. My dog faced puffer left my hermit crabs, urchin, and starfish alone. It's hit or miss. The goby should be ok with a puffer.

I'm looking to add a couple of chromis to my school of 3 on the cheap. Let me know if you have any you can part with at a low cost. Thanks!

I would like 10 of the green zoas if still available and may buy some of the other stuff when I'm there. I can come tomorrow when it's convenient for you. Call me. 422-3148. Leroy

I have a 55 gallon tank & Emperor 400 Filter that I purchased new about a six weeks ago and a used 48" Aqualife 4x65 light for sale. The tank includes the lids. All for $250. The light needs one bulb replaced but the newer stuff is in perfect condition. I just upgraded to a bigger tank and sump system.

Not sure if you want fish, but I have a blue damsel and a four stripe (black and white) damsel you can have. Call me at 422-3148. Leroy

I'm trying to rehome my puffer fish. He's healthy and active and likes to eat a lot! I'd like to trade it for some nice corals - either SPS or LPS. Let me know what you have.
