Hello All:
2 weeks ago I got a maroon and gold stripe clown mated pair which are doing well. Last Friday I got a green BTA that had been at the store for about 2 days. Anyway, the clowns are looking great (took right to the BTA) and so is the anemone. My question is this: about 4 hours after putting the BTA into the tank, it moved under a rock ledge. This is where the anemone remains today. It's a bit squished up in there but the tentacles are out and the clowns are hosting in it 24x7. It accepts food regularly so it seems to be healthy. Is this uncommon for it to be under there almost a week later? I'd really like it to be out but don't want to move it since it's attached and seems happy.
My tank is the following:
55g
2x175W 10K MH
77 degrees (chiller)
1.025 SG
500 Cal
6 dkh
8.2 ph
0 ammonia
0 nitrites
5 nitrates
0 phosphate
Thanks for your help!
