If it is possible I would like to get a cup of live sand from a couple different people so I can get my tank cycling right.

Ok I stayed up way to late last night getting this thing running (hooray red bull). I put almost all the rock in I have about 20 lbs in a buddies tank I need to pick up. I still need to arrange them the way I want them. Look like I will still need about 50 lbs more of rock. Also a couple gallons more of bio balls to fill the overflows. After seeing the rock that came out of the bottom of the trashcans, the rock is not as cycled as i thought it was. Patience is not something i'm good at. lol Oh well now for the waiting game.

No worries i'm just glad i didn't live too far away.

So after talking with him yesterday and set up a time to go pick them up. I show up and call him and he already gave everything away. wtf. oh well. I guess I expect everyone to show common courtesy. At least he could have called me and told me it was gone or told me it was first come first serve instead of telling me he would hold it for me. sorry for the rant.

Cool I just ordered 4 Workhose 5s $100.34 shipped to my door. I'll get with you on how to wire them when they get here

So I bought new bulbs for the fixtures that came with the tank. It looks like the problem was not the bulbs in 2 of them. I put new bulbs in and 2 still don't work. They are coralife fixtures. What else could be wrong?

That kinda what I figured. Here are some pics of the tank with water right after adding the sand and some rock so it's still cloudy. Time to go to home depot to finish the plumbing.

Thanks. I just got the tank put onto the stand last night now it's about half full of water. The live rock and sand has been curing in the garage for a couple months so it will go in as soon as I get everything plumbed up. Then all I have to do is finish the canopy. Since the rock and sand should be fully cured how long do you think it will take to cycle?

I'm finally home for a while, so it's now time to set up my tank. I was wondering if i could get a few people to come help me. The tank is located in the garage. I need to move it into the house and lift it onto the stand. sounds easy right? The catch is it's an 8 foot long 185 gallon tank. If anyone could help this week i will owe you one. Frag will come in the future as this will be a full reef tank. Thanks guys.

When I picked up my tank the guy gave me all of these fake corals. I need to get rid of them so they are up for trade or $2 each for big ones, $1 each for little ones. Also I'm trying to setup my tank this week and I need some help getting it in the house and lifting it onto the stand. Any help would be awesome.
