So it's late and I finished decorating with christmas lights and i gave me an idea. I bought all LED lights this year and had an extra strand of white and a million extras that came with each strand. So I started with this cool clear HOB filter. Drilled 66 3/16" holes in the lid. Pulled 66 LEDs out of the stings. the holes are just big enough that the light fit snug. then you shove in the lights and chain them together. Cut up the original cord and put a resistor before and after the lights between them and the plug. Plug it all in and go. This is only the halfway point with 33 LEDs in place. Now all I need is some Cheato to go in it. Anyone have some to spare. If you do i'll help you wire one of these. Thanks

Ok after 4 days the ammonia, nitrites and nitrates are at zero. I guess the several months curing the sand and rock worked. I moved a couple snails and crabs in, also 1 fish. The rock turned out awesome the pics don't do it justice. Looks like I still need another 100 lbs or so.
