  1. So lately I had noticed a few of my Florida ceriths disappearing. About a week ago I found one, but he was covered in some sort of red viscous liquid, and there was no trace of the snail inside. Yesterday at about 8 o'clock, about 2 hours after my metal halides had turned off and it was dark, I turned on my lights and raced over to the tank (as I like to see all my cool beneficial fireworms and pods working away) and I caught sight of a behemoth. It freaked me out and my skin was crawling thinking about it, some giant something in my tank. Well I picked up my 08' issue of Marine and Reef and went to the article they made on worms. One picture caught my eye, Oenone fulgida as did the quote "one of the most common pest worms to enter the aquaria, and reaching a maximum length of 12". Needless to say the 12" part and being able to bore holes in clams freaked me out of ever having my hands in there. I went back after another 4 hours of darkness and caught the monster feeding on one of my ceriths! I quickly took note of his burrow and the rock and schemed my plans. Well today I got active and took the rock out and pip petted baking soda into the hole and submerged the rock. I saved the pods that came out, but no worm. Not liking the rock in particular I began to break it up with a hammer and screwdriver, because I was sure that he was in there. Well guess what I found!

The picture is coming, just got to finish pickling him (that's right) because I want to remember my victory and it looks creepy cool

  2. It would and probably would run down your DI and membranes faster. That said, I had a idea of a cool evaporation system to collect good old H20, but am having trouble with the idea of salt creep.

  3. Did you get those Armor of Gods at RCA? They had a bunch of frags when I was there Sunday.

    It is armor of god.

What is it that you want to trade for?

The Armor of god is not up for trades. Just got it and waiting for it to grow.

  4. Hey I Didn't get the chance to say how great the frags were! That montis and acros were great! It was nice meeting you and the hammers a sweet!

The hammers I got (if they are the same) were much greener and more purple then in the pic under my 14k bulb. Maybe you have different color bulbs though?

    Thanks again!
