Sometimes they're just picking at other things and it looks like they're trying to eat polyps.

What pb said. Mine crawl over my sps but if you watch them closely they won't get any polyps.

Oh no....that is what I thought was going on. I wish that were the case. I sat and watched them dig into the coralites with their claws and pull out pieces of the polyps. After the lights went out I caught a second one trying to eat my war coral. Again I actually watched him pulling pieces of flesh.
