  1. AAF started selling a select 30-40 corals/week on ebay! The ebay seller name is NOT AAf but, reef_pets. I bid and won a coral a couple weeks ago and have been to AAF many times over the years and YES they do carry an absolutely impressive selection of rare and exotic coral. Of course as we all know with that comes a hefty price tag, so when I can get a nice or rare coral for a few dollars I'm takin it. The reason so many know about it is, anyone on AAFs mailing list got an email with the details.

I agree, there is NO WAY to control bidding against your friends, but THAT is what an auction is. It simply is up to the bidder how much they are willing to spend for an auctioned item. JMHO of course. The biggest problem I guess, is the vendor is the one who benefits from the competition. Business is business, they are there to put food on their table, and gas in their tank. I really can't grasp why anyone would be offended or upset about being out bid or being bid against by someone they know.

  2. I'd be in for the Phosphate ppB, Ca, and KH for sure, Maybe nitrate too.

I have the Salifert PO4 kit and I don't even attempt to read the colors as I m colorblind, I let my wife read it, and I am still leary as she is dam near blind! LOL not really but sometimes she has me wondering, especially when she drives! HAHAHAHA

  3. I just went out and opened the box, they are 18x7 52.5mm (offset I assume). They are indeed $125 for the set, a STEAL! there are a few marks on the one I looked at from the tire bead, may or may not buff out. A little dusty from sitting outside for so long but are in rim boxes so not exposed to direct weather. need a cleaning.

  4. Thanks Clint for all the corals!! All are well and have polyp extension already except the myagi, but I'll bet it won't be but a day or 2. As said before great tank, and great corals. Remember I too have several nice sps if you ever want to try something new. I have an awesome frag of A. plana that is out of this world gorgeaous whenever it is ready to frag.

BTW I done the refractometer cal. and it was off a bit, so I adjusted and rechecked. Both 300g systems were sitting at 1.029, ended up replacing 10g (approx 5 cups salt)/system. Anyone who hasn't done so lately I SUGGEST you do.

    Thanks again!!!

free bump if you are still selling too lol

  5. I see most acans at the bottom of the tank in most pics. I recently accuired some and was wondering if that is the best place for them? I run 250w 12ks in a 29" tall tank.

    Thanks

  7. I'm willing to ship. What else you interested in? I have a ton of stuff not listed and could make you a frag box so you don't waste a ton of money on shipping.

Well tabling sps mainly, no milli's, no stags, no caps, what do you have along them lines? Also lookiing for abrotinoides, rosaria, plana, robusta, ORA corals (hawkins, red planet, blue voodoo) etc etc

I am located in Kempner Tx 76539. I think Lonestar is like $10 or $15 something like that? Or am I way off?

  8. No picture of the efflo but it's solid purple when happy. Frags will be two inches or better and will start off at 20 bucks. I'm located in Onion Creek.

Are you willing to ship? Understanding i pay shipping, I was wondering about the Lonestar Overnight shipping? If so, I'll paypal you the total.

I am also willing to pay extra for a larger piece if that is doable.

  9. Okay so I have enough interest and to keep things simple I'll be holding an "Open House Sale" this Sat. from 10a.m.-12ish. Half of the Undata is already paid for and so is one frag of the Confusa but I'll be fragging the rest. I'll have an Inland tile saw set up in my kitchen and frags will be cut to order. I also have other nice stuff I can frag including a purple efflo. P.M. me for directions.

    Clint

Do you have a pic of the efflo, and approx how much and size?

  10. I have a dual 400 single end w/12k reeflux (probably need changed) and dual 36" PC lights and remote ballasts, perfect to strip down and put into a canopy. I bought this for a 75g that I now use as a sump, however I rarely use these lights, just a little overkill for a sump.
