MP10 ESW!! man this little thing is strong! its confusing at first, but i got a pretty good wave going now. just need to mess with the other settings.
-
ive always wanted em, but never had a tank small enough, and really, this one is still too large for em! ive seen em a few times today, maybe as they settle in theyll start coming out more tho
-
Check out what i picked up today!
Panda Gobies! ive always liked these guys, even tho ill rarely see em, theres just something cool about knowing there in there somewhere, and twice as cool when you actually get to see them!
there tiny!
picked up a nice mini colony of some sort of acro, not exactly sure what it is, let me know if you have any ideas

Hi Gilbert,
Long time no see...those led does look really cool. I switch over to led on both my tanks about 3 months ago. Led can definitely grow sps
pham you owe me some frags! ha! yeah everything looks great under leds..
-
Love the tank! I like how quickly you went from "NO SPS" to "i might just get a few sps....
yeah, it happens, ha. the tank was eventually going to house sps... but not this quick, plus i gotta see if the LEDs will be enough to grow my sps!
-
Picked up a few frags yesterday and theyve opened up nicely.
frogspawn
and a couple sps frags, i believe one is ponape birdsnest and im not too sure on the other, dont think its another birdsnest, maybe pocillipora?
i am very impressed with leds, i dont think ill ever go back to MH or T5s, the color is difficult to capture, but i get the same shimmer effect as a MH and better color then MH or T5. ver pleased with my Rapid LED Par 38

where the pics at?!
-
nice build!
-
thanks everyone! now its just a waiting game till i start adding some badass coral! and yeah brooks that light is bright! i wish i could check my par , i still want to add another bulb... that way i have a more even spread throughout the tank
-
a few more things for tonight!
these should be more then enough for my little 6 gallon nano.
we have flow!! im alot happier now that theres alot more flow.
you cant really tell, but its a ton of flow..
theres all sorts of crud flying all over the place, caught my fish by surprise, they had no clue what was going on ha..

nice!

got it all switched over today, i think it looks pretty good!
also decided to switch up the rockwork a little, my clowns where being a little aggresive to the new additions, figured this will confuse em enough to let the others settle.
everything was a success! also swithced the internal filter for a HOB slim marina, it takes up less room in the tank

also i decided i wanted a taller stand, i then remembered i had an antique cabinet in storage that was more then perfect for the job
but it was too light in color soooo... ( i had other furniture i had to stain to match the stand aswell so i purchased more then enough to go around )
check out this lock on this thing! its dope.. wonder if this stand is worth anything... hmm pawn stars?!
crazy key hole...
here is the frame above my reef
i wanted to match the stand as close as possible, i think it went well
i will be switching everything over as soon as everything dries up!

update!
picked up a few things today
a "mated" pair of hifin gobies, we shall see, have read a pair is hard to come by since both male and female are almost identical.
been having some bubble algae and hair algae starting to bloom, so i figured id give this little guy a go and see if he can help me out, as soon as he was cut loose after acclimation, he starting munching at the hair algae asap, hasnt gotten to the bubble algae yet tho... hope he eats it!

does it have any mounting hardware? i might be interested..
-
interested in the ecoxxotic white/blue if you part out
-
brooks you must have unlimited funds! great corals, tank is looking great!
-
sick *** tank jeremy! amazing job on the build.
-
beautiful eel!
-
looking good, did you make that overflow yourself? looks interesting.. i have no experience with the ecoxotic par bulb nor the orphek. i use the rapid led par38, the reason i chose it over the others was cause it has 7 leds total, the others have 5. and its a great bulb, love the color too. nice scape by the way
-
Welcome back! How much do you want for that Fluval? j/k Tank looks good.
haha not this time homie
-

check out regals plastics, they sell a few items that will help with polishing the acrylic, if its scratches your trying to remove, then thats a different story. your gonna have to sand the acrylic and buff, but not just with anything, check out everclear i believe they sell kits that will help you out. ive used it brfore and actually had a member on here with more experience with acrylic scratch removal, dapetit is his username give me a hand. after he did it, the tank almost looked new, a few of the deeper scratches where still slightly noticable, but all the minor ones where gone. I hope this helps
