  1. I saw the euroreef nano skimmer at MACNA 2 year ago and it was cool looking. If you are talking about sapphire aquatics then it is a nice skimmer. All skimmers take about a week to break in. The owner of Sapphire is super nice and make beautiful acrylic equipment. They are located out of Houston so if you need any custom acrylic work I highly recommend them. If you have any issues with the sapphire I recommend contacting them.
  2. nudis usual look like what they eat and it looks alot like a white sponge. I would guess that would be its food source BUT that is just a guess. If that is the case your a lucky. I too have battled the zoa nudis and remember the pain I went through. Once I move my big tank to AUstin I am going to set up a QT tank as well I have wanted to set up a pico for some colorful nudis but the more research I do on them the more I think it will not work. The only nudis that I know that people are able to keep and reproduce are the Berghia and that only works if you have plenty of aptisia to feed them. John

    Rare Fish?

a painted angler are cool fish A dragon ell would be sweet. I think your tank would be a bit small though..... a blue star leporad wrasse two of my fav wrasses are Cirrhilabrus rhomboidalis and Cirrhilabrus lineatus
  4. WOW that is SWEET!!!!!! I have wanted to keep an octo or cuttle for a long time. Both proved to be very hard to keep and have short life spans. I would not keep a blue ring though...... Wow you got some serious guts........... I had a friend in Houston that had one for a while. He feed his clams and damsels. There was a lfs in Houston that carried salt water malies. You might see if any of Austins lfs would caries them as they were cheep feeder fish. Once I sell my House in Houston so I can get one in Austin I might rethink about keeping one. I am curious to see how long yours lives as most of the stories I here is the ones that are collected are near the end of their life cycle. There used to by a guy in cali that was breading them called some thing like tomotoocto or something like that. But I think he shut down his operation.
