it has a trim ring that comes off.revealing a "bayonet" lug.the adapter tube then attaches to that.the adapter tube accepts a 52mm screw on lens

i guess i gotta learn how to change from raw to .jpg without losing quality

i had it on the 10 second timer.the tripod is probably way to shaky.the pics were much more sharp when i opened them in raw format.after i compressed them is when they lost quality

i was using a junk tripod.i need to get a decent one.the one i have is many many years old and had really flimsy legs.

i will be the first to critique.i need to learn how to resize better.when you click on the pics they look bad.on my computer the originals still look nice when at full size.i guess i scaled these too much and lost quality.

I recently bought a macro lense for my canon point and shoot.This is the second time i have practiced with it.I also learned today that there is a program you can run from the sd card that allows the camera to shoot in RAW mode.I took some pictures with it and thought i would post them.Hints and Tips welcome as usual.

i am very happy with the purple monster i bought from danny.it has grown really nice.even after i almost killed it a little while after i got it.if i didnt have it i would buy it again.the polyps on mine are white.

i think so as well.if you just take your time and be patient it pays off.when i look at the pics i cant believe the difference.sometimes when we see it every day we dont realize how much the thing as a whole is growing.

i was just cleaning up the mess from an external hard drive crash.i happened to run across some pictures of my tank almost exactly a year ago.this is within a week or two of when it was set up.it just so happens i had taken a fts yesterday.thought i would post the progression in almost exactly a year.

good one.i didnt even take the time to notice the flare from the lights on that first pic.i actually cropped everything out except the fish and that made the fish way to grainy.so i didnt even bother to crop after that.oops.lol.
