Hey y'all, I have used this bad boy (Captive Purity 75 GPD Deluxe RO/DI Filter System - Clear Canisters ) about (and no joke) 5 times. I bought it a while back so the actual contents that are inside of the canisters have to be changed --- im selling it with the handle that allows to unscrew the canister. But it works like a charm. Im selling it because i found it easier to buy my water rather than make it lol, i was always afraid id forget about it and make a mess Im asking for $150 for this unit. It is in great condition, the only thing that needs to be changed are the contents within the canisters (ie activated carbon). I have a bag of unused 1.25 lbs of Activated Carbon from Bulk Reef Supply that ill throw in. As a side note, the only thing needed to change (in my opinion) would be the canisters. The DI is still good as new and has well over 1 1/2 yrs left in it. Selling at $ 150 ( cheap to what i bought it for lol) 512-913-1391 Thanks

lol! Well i picked it up from the Aquadome. It is a little softball size but thanks though As for the nano cube, i've seen a lot of threads in RC where they remove all the little balls in the middle compartment and make a small fuge out of it! So yes.

Anybody got some cheato they wanna sell? I know horizon pets sells it but they store it in the same tank with diff types of algae. Im afraid to buy it there and end up having some caulpera (sp?) Al

Is it good though? I went there a few days ago and most of the tanks were empty. And where they kept the macro algae they had all the types mixed in!

Anyone know where you can buy cheato here in Austin? I've been to rivercity and aquatek and have not seen any. Maybe they keep it in the back. Any ideas?

Hello, I am planning of (maybe) drilling to holes in my DT to have a closed loop system. I will be making up my mind up anytime soon. So does anybody know how or where i can get it drilled? My DT is a 120g 4' x 2' x 2' And it weighs like no other!!! Any info works!!! Thanks, AL Bendiksen

Well hello! Today is a perfect day to rejoice. I just received my 120g aquarium from glasscages with stand and canopy . But the sad part of the day is that i need it to be stained. So does anybody know a company that stains furnitures, or do any of y'all know how to do it? This is the stand and canopy: And this is the color we need to match. (The pictures make it seem like to different shades, but one has the sun in the background and the other was taken with the "background light" mode) ANY HELP OR INFO WILL BE APPRECIATED!!!
