I mix my water in a bucket then I turn the return off, take 10 - 12% water out of the sump replace it with the new water and turn the return back on.

I had some in my tank and a friend told me that Peppermint Shrimp eat them and I have n't seen anymore since.

I don't know hope strong your light is but It sounds to me that your light is not strong enough, any time your coral is turning that color is because of not enough or proper lighting in the tank so the colors fade out, also check your water quality. Hope that helps

I don't know if it is the same or not but it looks close to what you have.
This tiny snail is a predator of zoanthids, and may be tough to see in your tank. Watch your zoos closely at night for this Sundial Snail, and if you discover one be quick to remove it. For the next few days & weeks, keep watching when the zoos are closed up, in case any baby pyramid snails appear. Discussion and more images on ReefCentral.com Not reef-safe!

Thank you all very much for viewing my post and for your kind words. I have two acans and the both of them have babies one on each of them, so I am very excited. I have some other rear corals that I have not posted as yet. I am giving them time to ajust more to the new tank setup. In a week or so I will take and post more pics. Next weekend me and Versace will try and make to Austin to chech you guys out.

I have upgraded to 90g tank and have the following for sale
Asking $450 for every thing
55g tank 48*20*12 9 months old
Mettle Stand painted black and very strong
Corallife Light 9 months old. I paid $180
30g Custome made Acrylic Sump 1 month old paid $200 for it, do not include skimmer, pump, fliter, sump only.
Overflow box and a Aqua lifter AW20 pump 1 month old 0ver $100 for the two part
