hi,
i changed out my lighting from vho's... this is what the tank looked like
i got a 72" constellation....14 x t5s
went a bit heavy on the blue tho..
6 x Giesemann acquablue +
6 x Goesemann actinic +
2 x Sfiligoi Actinic 03
you cant see from the pics but the mushrooms and zoas have gone luminous haha
gonna have to change some bulbs out....
heres all of them on together
just actinic plus and actinic 03
with the actinic 03 and a set of actinic + switched off

i dont know really if they make THAT big a difference... but i have a dsb, deeper than it was...theres definately more flow under the rocks than there would have been otherwise.... still getting my flow right though as i have a dead spot under there in one place and its hard to balance without the sandshifting...
i made them after my tank was set up...it would be a lot easier to do it before
my hifin banded goby loves it though as do my shrimp... but its not the be all and end all
i have a differentidea formy new tank build that im working on though...

thanks guys..
well ive only been in Tx for 3 months...im a brit...
my tank finished cycling and is looking good... so im setting up a second one now...
its a perm move, so its nice to be able to have something thats going to stay put..
havent been to to many fish stores generally since ive been here...a couple in houston and san antonio
as i suffer terribly from fish envy and it kills me waiting for the cycling to end... but now im there.... adding
a few tweaks to the setup
which stores should i check out? ... im quite intrigued by austin aqua farm and it looks like they have some awesome stuff!
