Canon EF 100mm macro
with actinics on. with brighter light on.
I shoot with all lights on including actinics... then adjust the white balance in Photoshop. Is your concern color or shutter speed?

This stuff is similar in some ways to bryopsis in that you cannot starve it out or block it out with light. Once you have it, you have to be very careful in removing it.... it is easy to spread. It is also opportunistic in finding a food source. With its fuzzy appearance, it can easily trap nutrients.

Mike, did the anemone make it? X-ing fingers it is ok.
-
The only thing known to eat this stuff is a Mexican Turbo snail.... quite different from a Turbo Astrea. Check out Aquatek - they always have some in stock. You don't want this stuff to spread in your tank.

Thank you for the Fruit Loop Chalice.

If you suspect zoapox, you can dip your zoas/palys into furan2 (or bifuran). You would need to dip 3 days in a row and then wait a week to see if they need further treatment.

If that goes missing from your tank.... please do not look in mine

Yep. That traffic was horrible!!! Really nice to see everyone again. Thank you, Dave and Robin for hosting an excellent event. Your tanks are beautiful.

Thank you, Jake.... I won a much needed bucket of salt.

Wes, I'll cut a 6 polyp for you. I will be coming to the Austin Reef Club meeting right after the MAAST frag swap. I can bring it with me then if that would work for you.

I'll put you down for a frag Andrew. You too, Mark .... I LOVE xenia!

I picked up a really nice size colony of prism favia the other day but need to frag it a little to make it fit.
Sorry... not the best picture I have ever taken but helps give you an idea of color
Frags will be $35 per 4 polyps
Coral is purple with electric green centers. New growth edges are green.

How are the new bulbs doing for you? I thought about repacing my 12Ks with these but chickened out this round of bulb replacements.
-
Hey Mark, did sending you that code help.
I had to go without mine for 3 weeks due to a warranty repair issue. It was like being on pins and needles not being able to monitor the tank.

Looking forward to the meeting!!
