I just missed this too! Thank you for the heads up though Scott. I recently switched from Fritz to IO and feel reassured about my choice since everyone in this thread is a seasoned veteran in the reefing game and using IO.

My hippo tang is bullying my purple tang and needs to find a new home. Healthy, active and colorful specimen. She is probably 6" or so. $100 OBO
Disclosure: she will pick up any frags or small coral on sand bed and drop them wherever she pleases. Also, my tank has had/has ich but haven't seen any signs for well over a year

I will arrive with sharpened #2 pencils. Do I get a free frag if I pass?

Thanks for the promo, Ty. It isn't as colorful as it's momma but has more greenish/blue coloration than the picture I took illustrates. Hopefully I will be able to keep my Acros as vibrant as yours after the lecture on Saturday!

I have a couple mini colonies up for grabs. Had to chop up the Ectoplasm and have duplicate Cali Torts
Farmer Ty's Ectoplasm - $
30- $20 - about the size of my palm, maybe a tiny bit smaller, crazy fast growerCali Tort - $
25- $20- 4-5 inches tall, about the thickness of a thumb? One side isn't quite as colorful as the rest due to shadingAlso willing to trade for certain Acro frags. Thanks for looking!

That is a pretty intense purple. The green frags listed above are nice too. Hopefully there will be some left to take off your hands next week.
You should decide to cut up all of the circled colonies, or at least rehome them in my tank. Don't tease us!

Hey Ty! What are the "names" of the colonies you have cut up so far? And I think I saw the Garf Bonsai circled in the original post. You should definitely cut some slices off that bad boy.

I started using this product a month or so ago and have gotten great results. https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/red-sea-nitrate-phosphate-reducer.html?sku=208219&gclid=CjwKCAjwuO3cBRAyEiwAzOxKskzHnLm-uJQxcHJgKr8_OxS-AW_RLA42BYLIBwh98fUbmqEpsky40hoC3TsQAvD_BwE It dropped my nitrates and phosphates super fast, probably too fast.
Chemiclean is also reef safe and should help temporarily wipe out cyano. If you have high nutrients, the cyano will most likely come back.

PM sent. Thank you!!

Awesome. I just cycled my 47 column and plan to stock it with macro and seahorses. I will take as much as you are willing to part with, after Bburrage04 gets his/her share.

Is this high five for chaeto deal still on?

Thanks for the sale! I was pleasantly surprised by how colorful and vibrant the sour twist looks under actinic lighting. Please let me know if you frag anymore Bellina, GB Tropic Sunset Milli or SC Orange Passion. I was late to the party and missed out on these gems.

I second what Sascha said. I am always very satisfied with my purchases when they are from fellow ARC members. Usually great stuff in livestock classifieds and Farmer Ty always has some really nice SPS frags for sale (if you are into that). I think Austin Aqua Farms has the best quality, as far as stores go, but it is probably worth the time to hit them all up and see if you can find something that strikes your fancy. Happy reefing and an early happy birthday!

I run 3 of these lights over my 125 gallon SPS tank and get great color and growth. Highly recommend.

Thanks for the hook up. Always a pleasure stopping by.

Shucks. I already have the low range. Thanks for the quick response.
-
Is the phosphate checker the low range or ultra low range?
-
I ended up taking the shark into Aquatek. Jeremy, I am fresh out of great whites. I will put you on with my bald eagle/great white/panda connect.
On a serious note, Jeremy is a good friend and Sascha is a good guy, let's all be friends here

Algae Scrubbers
in Reef Keeping
Posted
Are you using GFO or anything else for nutrient control in conjunction with the algae scrubber?
