Hey Danyy i live behind SHOOTERS at ther train station in Cedar Park. I could help. Give me a call on the time and all. 971-1925-Jeremy

Ok, I have this sump forsale the dimensions are 23.5Lx9.625Wx15.75H. Its an Aqua Clear Aquatics model #175 wet/dry with prefilter box. The only think a person would need is a return pump to have it running. Also I have the bio-balls that came with it but i never used them. The divider inside the sump between sump area and return needs to be partially re-glued.(its the divider on right side of foam.) Not a big deal. $75 will take it home. OBO within reason.

wow its finally here, the new look is great. I have a question about my blog though, Its listed last now with no comments. what happened to it? I guess that it can be deleted now since everything looks to be gone. The other 3 ppl that were up ahead of me still are there with everything. Maybe just a glitch or something. Great job on the new look though.

ya, well ill try and get the rest of this by myself and quit bothing. thanks for the help. Guess its all trial and error. with ALOT of bumps in the road.

also my brother is a design engineer at DELL, and i have 2 fans he gave me that are 4" but they move like 600cfm each. Holly cow they are loud. I think they may be to much.
-
so with both fans going at full till they will evacuate 204cfm. The measurements on canopy are 4'Lx28"Dx lets say an average height 37". Im not good with math but i think that it will turn over like 7x's the volume of the canopy a minute. i may be doing the math wrong.
-
YES, i own my home. The fans are 4" fans. They move 102cfm each.

i have purchase 4 ground earth magnets, they are REALY strong. Each one has a pulling force of 28lbs. They will go in each corner. The wood on top of the tank is resting on the top of the tank rim. Picture that sheet of wood with a 2" stip nail and glued 1.5"s up from bottom. Also to keep the board from getting to hot i ligned the inside with radiant barrier, also acts as a refector. Here are some pictures.
Light hung tonight. 14" from top of tank
Light with board up
Canopy cover looking at the lip i built to support part of the weight. Once the magnet get here tehy will support the canopy cover.

Thats the way my sand does sometimes also, havnt figured it out why it occurs but a few days later it goes away.

i agree the clam looks great!
-
i took some and set it on a rock that was by the glass where i wanted it leaning it up against both and within a month it had started to grow to the glass.
-
This is the progress so far, not done with wood work yet but gettn there.
-
im going to try and make it, dont really know anyone, but guess ill get a crash course with alot of names and faces. I didnt see a time for the meeting, unless im just looking over it and didnt see it.
-
gonna start the outside wood work tomorow (sunday). Have an idea for the top cover of tank and a way to draw cool air around tank and out hood to cool the lighting.
-
wow, it looks like ur gonna have a nice set-up. i cant wait to c the finished piece. is this the tank you were talking about putting the dark sand in?
-
ok, thats what i needed. thanks for the info.
-
so was wanting some opinions on which way may be better, horizontal or vertical bulb ?

I am just thinking that the Tunze6100 is just the pump($220), and then u have to but the controller for it which is another $200 or so. I guess if u can find a 6100 with controller for $200 then the price is correct. I filled the tank with fresh water this morning so i can start building the wall. wanted the weight in the tank so there wouldnt be any issues with flexing. Also here is a picture of new plumbing. One sock.
-
ya thats correct, with the controller its 450-500. Hey theres a few people on EBAY selling liverock. I have always paid LFS price(which is F___ing High), and was considering buying it on ebay. 50lbs Fiji ultra premium live rock $115($45 shipping) so $160 delivered, thats $3.20/lb. Any thoughts
-
dustin you were correct about the DIY wave maker on reefcentral. the price they have listed is just for the box, no controller. So when u add it up for the parts,
acrylic, power head, and a controller its almost $500.
-
ok guy/gals bad storm coming, gotta power down computer.
-
dustin, this is offroadodge, im putting together the new 120 in wall. Have the money but cant mount wavebox on either end, has 2 b on back. Man i wish that i could chat(talk) with someone on phone to ask questions.
-
How well does that squid work, was contomplating one or a wavebox.
-
thanks, i called AquaTek to confirm also, i posted some pics on my blog of the progress, go see what u think.
