  1. FTS-10/8/2013 Updates: -Moved MP10 to back wall for tri-viewing. -Removed rock for more sand area. -Added my first piece of sps(birdsnest) and its doing great w/ great polyp extension.
  2. Well I made a test kit tray this morning. I picked the tray up at Target and made some small acrylic baffles from some scraps I had laying around. I hated the Red Sea containers the test kits were in.. couldn't fit my hands in to grab anything. Plus I like having everything together and easily accessible. So this is what I came up with.
  3. Ahh its midnight.. may as well frag some zoas. #Addicted #Junky
  4. Check out my trained climber. This blue legged hermit is using a small string of silicone to climb his way out.
  5. The start of my ricordia garden. Here is 3 that has attached to rocks and there is 8 more that need to do the same. Here is the other member in the house that is very interested in my fish hobby. Baxter. He even helps with water changes and clean up. (runs around with my towels and utensils)
  6. Thank you guys. I apprecaite it.
  7. Inside the cube, two common clowns from previous tank / frags. Sump Pics. Kill Switch Installed and working. FTS.
  8. Gotta love taking control with an Apex. Temp is staying between 78-79 PH adjusts +/- .04 between night and day.
  9. As of right now its not bothering me. I may paint it as time goes on.
  10. Wet Cube. Still a bit cloudy. Took these early this morning. More pics to come later.
  11. Setup in place. And this is what I have been busy with today.. I have bought a small acrylic shelf at Target and split it in half to use it as controller mounts. DIY of the day. I have a few more wires to hang in place but everything is falling in place.
  12. Thanks a lot man. Yah I figure I can have a few beers on there and sit and watch.
  13. Overflow box came in this morning. Attached and setting as we speak. Plumbing tomorrow. Leak Test Monday.
  14. Moved it into the living room and done some cable management and putting together the wiring/controller and modules. Just putting in my time til the overflow box comes in Monday... Pictures to follow..
  15. So after dinner I decided to head out and finish the doors and light tree and hanging kit for the Radion. For the door handles I used some rope cleat dock ties. Thought it fitted the build.
  16. Stand doors this morning looking great.. The wife and I started to paint and this is what we had finished. Still have to paint the inside of the doors but I will do that tomorrow when I have more time. Also have the door handles to attach and also paint the light tree.
  17. This doesnt appear to be your first tank > where are some of your other build threads? Your stand will open on three sides? Thats dedication. Are you planning on using any sound dampening material? No this is my third actually. I built a 90G DT w/ a 40B sump. Friend came by and bought it first thing. Then I decided to build a 40B-DT w/ a 40B Sump posted on a forum and was offered more than I paid so I sold that one but this my friend is my pride and joy this cube isn't going anywhere. Yes the stand will have 3 doors so I can remove or get in to my sump anytime at any angle. Dedication you say but I say prepared for the future of this hobby. Who knows what I will be adding or removing. And I don't plan on using anything for noise. I don't think there is a need for it.
  18. no kidding... im about to convert my smoker into a tank that still cooks a mean brisket, just to show this guy up! You may need a ladder to step up your game son. hahaha
  19. Doors being glued and screwed into place. Painting starts tomorrow.
  20. Hoses laid out. Light tree hanging my Radion well. Still need to paint and make correct hanging kit not just strings. Brainstorms.
  21. The black overflow box I have is going to cover them so no need to paint them. This weekend I will reveal what I'm talking about. Haha Thanks. Drilling all day every day.
