Ok like the tittle says I'm Looking for a list of skimmers that will actually fit InThe hood of the bc14gal..I know wcs will suffice but I'm getting to go back to afghan and need something easy for the wife.. I would love to have one of the old sapphire nano skimmers but from what I have found they stop selling them..so anyone have any ideas?

I can do 400 on the tank setup if that helps..or if anyone is interested

The canopy has 4 48" t5 bulbs but the fittings for the bulbs need to be replaced they work if you turn the bulbs just right..my wife is asking 450 for it.. 18.5Wx72.5Lx20.5T tank dimensions not including the stand and canopy in the measurements..

I'm selling a 120 gal setup stand, tank, sump, return pump, and canopy.. It is drilled with two over flows.. The back trim needs to be re sealed since my friend that help me moved use the rim to tilt it up.. I'm asking 550 for it

i have some frags of neon green zoas im seeling it was from a large colony that i broke up the price is ranging from 3-15 dollars depending on the size you pick..

I have that exact light i bought it for my bc14 refugium setup the only issue I had was the bulbs keep popping..so I ended up just making a light that mounted on the back and shown into the tank..

Yea I looked at those not sure if I can spend the cash right now for it

So really only way if I want to keep the lid closed is put a chiller on it?

Next question is their any simple DIY kinda chiller j can do or do I have to get a nano chiller?

Hi I just setup a 14gal bio cube.. I took out the stock pc lights and added 1 ecoxotic led strip 12k white/445 blue, I have the stock fans in the hood and stock return pump.. I'm seeing temps up around 84-86.. My ambient temp in my house is 80 due to the wife not wanting the ac running all the time..I did have a 120 gal tank setup in the same room and with 4 92mm computer fans blowing on the 8bulb t5 light and a fan on my sump I had temps of 77-80.

I did just add 2 40mm fans to my bc14 hood.. One brings in air and the other takes it out.. The air blows across the back chambers with the lid closed.. I just added these fans last night and haven't had the chance to check the temps.. Will do after work..

My question is what have others done to prevent high temps?

Yes I know I could drop the house temp but not going to happen..
