  1. I have a stunner actinic LED that I would consider selling. I only have one on my 125 gallon tank. It doesn't do much as far as actinic supplementation with my tank (I have 250 watt 10k MH) but does look nice as a moon light. We could work something out if you wanted to come see it with the lights on and off. Troy
  2. I would love to have the other piece. PM sent Troy
  3. I need to thin out my silver pom pom xenia. I am going to break the rock it is on in half and sell the rock and the xenia. I will sell for $20 obo. I need it gone by about 1pm today or I am taking it to River City Troy
  4. I have a 29 gallon tank and stand I would like to sell. Price is $30. Was used as a salt water tank, needs to be cleaned as has been empty for a while. No top or lights I am willing to trade for a SPS frag. Troy
  5. Sold Travis, it was good to meet you. I enjoyed talking with you Troy
  6. Now here are pictures with just the stunners on Sorry the pictures are great, but it's the best I could do. Troy
  7. I have read some of the discussion here about the LED stunner lights and what they look like. I have 1 strip on my 120 gallon. It doesn't do much when the MH are on, but they look cool as moon lights. Here are some pictures with the 250 watt 10k MH and the stunners.
  8. Pending Here is a picture of anemones after split
  9. My RBTA split ~3 weeks ago. It is healed up and ready to sell. I will sell it for $100. The one for sell is 4-5 inches across. Here is a picture of it before it split under 10k 250watt MH
  10. I had to break off some montipora to create some space. It is supposed to be purple with blue polyps, but is more brown right now as it was at the bottom of the tank(I do have some of the same kind higher up that is more purple.) I have 3 pieces that are ~1 inch x 2 inches and 3-4 small 1/2 inch x 1 inch. I would sale them all for $10. Also, my sherman RBTA just split yesterday. So it will need a little time before it is ready to go. It is a very nice RBTA and will be big. Before the split it was ~12 inches in diameter if not bigger and looks like it split pretty equally in half. I will sell for $100 when it is ready I also have a big clump of red dragon's tongue macroalgea. I will sell for $20. I will try to get pictures in the next fews days. I broke my camera last week and it will be a few days before I can get it fixed. Thanks Troy
  11. I do. I have been using it for years. Troy
  12. I am interested in hearing about your set up and experience. I don't want to hijack the thread, but I have been running a skimmerless tank for the past 3 years with some similar ideas. I read a lot of Eric Borneman's stuff. I have a fuge under my tank that has four different chambers that prof (Dave) custom made for me, that is made up of different zones in an attempt to have as much diversity as possible. I don't do water changes and my maintainance consists of adding kalkwasser to top off every day and feeding (I feed pretty heavily too) Troy

    Tasty Treats

Interested in the montiporas. I just left a message and would like to pick them up today. Troy
  14. I have some that I will give to you. I need to thin it out and usually I just throw it away. I live in Cedar Park and am around in the evenings. Troy
  15. I haven't run a skimmer on my tank in the past 4-5 years. Skimming is one means of export, but not the only. They do work and I am not going to say they are bad or wrong. I choose not to use one, because I like not having to pay for one or not having to clean it out. (I have used one on my tank previously by the way). If you are interested in not using one, I would recommend reading Eric Borneman's forum on Marine Depot. Lots of good information there, including his study on what skimmer actually remove. Troy
  16. Anybody have a frag of some green monti cap? especially if it had the purple rim. Thanks Troy
  17. I have a smaller rock with ~100-150 zoanthids on it. They have purple centers, orange mouths and green skirt. I would love to sell it today, really as soon as possible. I will sell it for $30. Picture is a few months old, but this is them. I also have a smaller frag attached to very small rock, has around ~40 polyps of the same zoanthids above. It also has 3 polyps of a different kind, the has orange skirts, orange mouth. I will sell for $15. Not a great picture of size of frag, but can see the different zoas. I want to sell them today, so first come, first serve. I live in Cedar Park, just off 183. My number: 258-4532 Thanks Troy
  18. Things have come up so I am not going to get the reflectors/bulbs. Sorry Troy
  19. I am very interested and on my way Troy
  20. I top off with kalkwasser. That's the only thing I add. I also feed heavy. I will try to get some pictures. Troy
  21. I have not run a skimmer in 3.5 years. I have no mechanical filtration. I don't do water changes. I do run a fuge with 3 separate chambers, one has macro, one is a DSB, one is full of pebble sized coral rubble. I have tried to provide different habitats for lots of diversity. I do have an anemone, SPS, LPS without problems. The last time I had my water tested, nitrates were less than 10. I don't have any algae problems either. I do run carbon and try to have different herbivores. Troy
