  1. I did it on a 55 gallon right in the middle. It worked fine and looked fine too, however it was a fowlr and my lion and triggers and puffer quickly outgrew it hence my now owning a 135. I gave it and the stand away when I moved from Va. Beach to Tx. I wish I still had it though b/c my son wants a horse tank and it would have been perfect!

  2. Or some crazy bunch o' nuts rent a large U-Haul, fill it with a bunch of tanks from craigslist, go over there and steal them while the place is closed, drive to the beach and set them free while singing the theme song to Free Willy.

    Too funny Karen, =-)

I can't sing wort anything but I have a couple tanks I can donate to the cause! How does that theme song go anyway? I can't remember...

  3. I have several clean and large containers and I can help too, if I have a little advanced notice. I live in N. Austin but can see Round Rock out my back windows. So I am pretty close to you. About 10 to 15 min I am guessing.

Is the new tank going where the old tank is or can they both be set up and running at the same time? This will allow for more time for scaping and less transfer stress to the inhabitants. I have moved dozens of fish many times with no loss. (Even from VA to TX!) I have not tried moving corals yet though.

  4. Yeah, you can and I had my 55 gallon set up like that for several years as a fowlr. The hang on overflow will make your tank need more clearance from the wall but everything runs behind the tank and doesn't look too bad. I still have the hang on overflow you can have. Once I finally drilled my large tank though, There was no going back. It is not much of a trick to drill a tank but obviously it needs to be empty...

  5. Karen, you got me started stocking my tank, btw that candy cane is looking great! I have some bright green zoos you can have for free. My green zoos grow like crazy. They are the fastest growing thing in my tank and they add some nice color. I can give you some zenia also, they are fast growing and pale pink but they sway with the flow which looks cool. Let me know if you are interested. This weekend is not good but perhaps some time next week or weekend.

  6. Sorry, I have been swamped at the office since we are so shorthanded. I have been putting in long hours and I was told @ 5am today that I was going to be the only one in the office today to work the phones and the front desk and checkout! None of those are my job and I have a couple projects going on that require my attention too! I forgot to get backto you and I am sorry. Are they still available?

    Thanks,

    Sean Warfield :-)
