  2. Ok, now I know I don't understand electricity or how a multimeter works. I test the fixtures like you suggested. I didn't get any kind of reading I understood. I clean all the contacts with distilled water before checking the leads and LED's. We did  find a couple of loose ground wires. I also have several of these which are rusted badly. See images.

I would really appreciate it you could come to the house and take a look, of course when it convenient for you.

    Thanks

  3. I have a whole row of white leds not working (the 75 watt strip). Noticed the connector on the strip appeared to be stepped. Robin noticed some rust on some of the solder joints. Have about 4 other leds not working on the left side of the strip above it.20210124_151246.jpg

  4. George,

I have seen tremendous growth, as well as color & color change. For instance our big red brain revealed its ture colors, orange & purple. I have also had some bleaching and lost some zoas, at first. I lost a huge colony of purple death but they are making a comeback. I have had them running since the first of the year.

  5. Lighting up date I went from 500 watts of MH lighting & 108 watts of T-5 actinic lighting to 187 watts of LED's.

My temperature was 78-81 degrees a day under MH and today the tank very rarely reaches 78.5. My top off as dropped considerably too.

Here is what I used to have:

  6. I've received a lot of request to post my Photographing Your Reef:A Primer I use for the digital photography meeting we hold every January. It is several pages long so I have attached it here as a PDF. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to veiw the document.

Should you have any questions concerning the content please send me a PM.

This is not the bible but it is a good place to start.
