im starting up a new 110g rr tank and i wanna try something different.

i thought about doing the foam rocks but idk changed my mind. i was looking over on maast on some thread builds and noticed some people using acrylic rods and making "towers" sorta and i wanna try and doing that.

question is, where in austin can i go and buy some of those rods so i can get my project going???

might pick up the ATO if nobody else does

its on a 110 gallon. all that needs to be resealed on the top edges and centerbrace. no sides or anything. just the top rectangle part? (if that makes sense)

i got a tank for free from a local member and i need to reseal the top portion and center brace.

how do i go about doing this? best method? which silicone to use? etc..

i own a 110 acrylic by tenecor. i am currently in the process of about switching it out to a glass tank!

like its been said before they both have there highs and lows

so i should just put a panty hose around the output going into the sump and change that every so often and that would also help???

what is the best way to get rid of this stuff????

also if it is all over your rocks can you take the rocks out and scrub them with something to make them "extra clean"??

i did about a 50% water change the other day and tried vacuuming out most of it but of course i missed a lot of it some how and not its on my rocks?
