im starting up a new 110g rr tank and i wanna try something different.
i thought about doing the foam rocks but idk changed my mind. i was looking over on maast on some thread builds and noticed some people using acrylic rods and making "towers" sorta and i wanna try and doing that.
question is, where in austin can i go and buy some of those rods so i can get my project going???
hate to see this happen karen and i hope everything works out for the best for you!!!!

i own a 110 acrylic by tenecor. i am currently in the process of about switching it out to a glass tank!
like its been said before they both have there highs and lows
what is the best way to get rid of this stuff????
does anything eat it?
also if it is all over your rocks can you take the rocks out and scrub them with something to make them "extra clean"??
i did about a 50% water change the other day and tried vacuuming out most of it but of course i missed a lot of it some how and not its on my rocks?
please help guys!

lucky!! i would have for sure have gotten those black clowns if i had the chance. i got dry goods, lights, and a royal. there was a BIG turnout. cant wait till their next sale!!! kudos rca!!!
i wonder if a 180g tank is a BIG leap for a newbie?
skimmers euroreef is a big plus. or you could get a deltic.
i suggest going to rca talk to my boy and he'll get you on the right path for sure
if the glass is tempered it means you can NOT drill in it cause itll crack and be useless. meaning youll have to get a external overflow and yes you will need a sump
a sump is just the basic "under" tank which can keep the skimmer and pump to keep water circulation
a refugium is in a way a smaller mini tank which you can keep sand, lr, cheato, pods.
heck im sure somebody else can explain better
