  1. Looking at my schedule tomorrow, I have to be down south @ 6:30pm, so how many of you were planning on picking up after work? I know EJ was...anyone else?

I will need to pick it up after work. Will getting to your house at 5:45pm tomorrow be too late?

  2. Truckin' pointed out that people might need my addy and ph # to schedule their pickup...duh!

  5. I bought 2 frags of Oregon Tort only to lose one last night myself.

I feel a little better now that I know I was not the only one to lose an oregon tort. I felt terrible thinking it was something I did wrong, since I got a nice size piece (not to say that it still might have been my fault).

I was also thinking that I should have bought two yesterday! Oh well, live and learn...

  6. Ouch...

Unfortunately, my oregon blue tort from Brian did the same thing. I put it in last night and this morning it was mostly gone due to RTN. Pretty sad, cause that was the main reason I went over there.

On the positive note, all my other frags from Brian are doing great though!

  7. I agree with everyone else. Even though I did not purchase anything from prof yet, he had some really nice looking live rock. It doesn't cost any money to look and you might be happy that you did. :)

  8. Cool...I use to live near 360 and 2222 (Lakewood).

I am going to have to pass this time. I ended up ordering a frag pack from a guy at reefcentral and I don't think my wife will be too happy with me spending more money elsewhere. But everyone, please post your actual pictures when you get them, so I can regret my decision. :D

It looks like you have enough though. Good Luck with the order!

I work near 360 @ 2222 and live in South Austin (Circle C area). These will be delivered to my work address.
  9. I started my new 90 gallon tank running with saltwater for about a 3 days. I then started to gradually add live rock from my old tank into my new tank over a span of a week. During this time, I mixed water from my 45 gallon with water from my 90 gallon and vice-versa. I am guessing about 2-3 gallons a day. I then got my ceramic rock into the tank and then started adding snails and crab from my old tank one at a time over the span of another week. I then added some live aragonite sand, which I got from a friend, and then after another couple of days of settling, I moved all my corals and livestock to my 90 gallon.

It's been like this for about a week now and everything seems to be great.

I am still running my 45 gallon with some liverock just in case my 90 gallon crashes.

The only thing I have lost is my rose anemone (pretty sad, since I had him for about 3 years) due to a mishap with a koralia and my blue hippo tang. I had bought a peppermint shrimp a while ago and thought I lost him in the 45 since I never saw him, but when I moved the corals and livestock over, I found him and he seems to be doing great in the 90.

    To each his own though.

Anyways good luck with your tank!

  10. Awesome fixture... Looks like the one I ordered and got last week. ;)

Where did you get your fixture from? I ordered it via AquariumSpeciality and they had it drop shipped from Aquactinics.

I am going with this bulb combination:

    ATI Aquablue Special

    ATI Blue Plus

    ATI Aquablue Special

    ATI Blue Plus

    ATI Aquablue Special

    ATI Blue Plus

    ATI Aquablue Special

Does your fixture get extremely hot in the middle? I did not have that problem with my Aquactinics 36" TX5. But, I ordered risers for my constellation so it would not sit directly on the glass.
