Hi All,
Have a pair of clowns I’m looking to rehome.
I have had them for 3-4 years now and have decided to shut down the small tank they are in and need a new home for them before that can happen.
Nice looking pair, nothing all that special about them. They have been in a tank on their own with no other fish for a while now.
Looking for $45 for the pair, both are fat and healthy
The app is having issues when I try to post a pic. If you are interested and would like a pic or video of them just shoot me a text
903.216.3390, pick up in Southeast Austin - will accommodate social distancing pickup

Hi,
I have a brand new set of redsea tank mounts for the hydra 26. Not sure what all lights it will work for besides the hydra.
Also including my old set. The mounting piece on the older set has started to corrode but the arms and other components are in good shape.
$120 for all four setups
First picture shows with reefer 90 led and I am not sure these will fit those but they are very similar.

Looking to get rid of this tank that I was working on setting up for frags a few years ago..
Moving in a few weeks and would like to not get rid of it before hand. It is a petco 15g glass aquarium, has two holes drilled in the bottom (overflow/return) and two bulk heads. Has a stand and glass panels to use for a sump (tank for sump not included).
$25 for everything - the glass cost $27 to have cut so just trying to get a little back on it all to buy more moving boxes and rolls of tape.
Pick up is in South Austin off Mckinney Falls Pkwy and William Canon.

Selling my Ecotech Radion XR15w Pro light and the mount to go with it. The light is in excellent condition and is very clean. The mount includes all parts and is in great condition as well. The mount itself has some discoloration towards the base but it is not noticeable when the light is functioning.
Asking $285 for the setup. If you are interested or have any questions feel free to reach out.

No colonies at this point. I do have frags tho

On a tank that small I would just use a small slice of sponge in a low profile overflow skimmer box with the 90 elbow on the back and your valve to control the flow. Should be good to go. In a box that small you arenot going to need much flow to the sump. Probably < 2 Gal per hour is all that is needed. A Hydor Centrifugal 70 pump is 70 gph and at 3 feet will make ~ 20gph and you would probably need to adjust it down to get to 10gph and that's way more than you need for filtration. I would hope a tank this small is only to keep frags in while in QT prior to DT. Will be plenty hard to keep SPS in a tank this small.
It's drilled in the bottom so I will go with a stand pipe with a durso or maggie muffler (never heard of this until now) and I am thinking that I am going to use a sicce syncra silent .5 pump. The sump is a 20g tank so the entire system will be around 25 gallons or so. I have done sps in smaller tanks before

tank drilled on bottom with a standard overflow box I would use a stand pipe w/ a Maggie Muffler on top. Very easy, effective and cheap way to go. Can still use your gate valve for flow control if wanted. If drilled on back I would go with a low profile box on the inside with a 90 coming off the bulkhead on back with the valve set to maintain a proper level in the box.
You think I should be worried about the gate valve being clogged at any point? It is a frag tank and will likely not have anything in it to get sucked in but you never know.

I no it is over a month old, but i was wondering if you had any of these left.
Any left? Just hoping.
Yeah, I have quite a few left. If yall dont mind texting me sometime today and I can let you know tonight when I get home what exactly I have left. Sorry, at work from now til 10ish tonight.
thanks

I think use a gate valve instead of a ball and that durso is usually the way to go unless noise is not an issue
any reason to go with gate vs. ball? Never had one on my tank

I am setting up a small (15g) frag tank, it will be an independent system and I am having some issues deciding how to set up the overflow. The tank is drilled and has an overflow and a return. I will be using a 1 inch bulk head for the overflow and a 1/2 inch for the return. My question is how should I do the plumbing for the overflow? I wont have a emergency drain but I want to use a ball valve on it so that I can adjust the flow for noise and also shut off the water to the sump. I was thinking standpipe or durso. What do you guys think?

That would be awesome! I think I am going to go with two 1inch bulkheads and put a ball/gate valve on the overflow and use a reducer for return. What all sizes do you have? I may only need to barrow one. Also, the stand is already built so taking it to you would be difficult. I wont need to do it for a bit since I dont have the bulkheads yet.

Hey guys,
I am looking for someone who has a kit for cutting holes in wood. I only need to barrow it to drill 2 holes. I dont know what size holes I need so this is why I was looking to barrow a kit that had some options for when I pick up the bulkheads.

I would really appreciate it and can come to you to pick them up.
Thanks,

Quick update:
Blenny is sold. Decided to go with a clown pair at some point. Got a few new corals and have been rearranging the tank quite a bit.
I added an Innovative Marine Protein skimmer to the tank. I also took the reactor offline and will probably just use it for carbon every now and then and maybe some GFO if and when needed.
I also have been working on a frag tank. It will be an independent system in my room with a 15g display and a 20g sump. I will probably run it with only live rock seeded from my fusion 20 and a protein skimmer. Not much more required besides water changes. I haven't decided what light I want to run yet but I am wanting to do LEDs since it will be mainly zoas/palys, a few softies, and some LPS.
My plan for the Fusion 20 is to do mainly SPS and a few lps and a couple of choice zoas/palys.
Lots going on and hopefully I can post some pics up soon (need to rearrange all the coral in my sand bed..)
Thanks for reading!
