Its the clumsy ponies id be worried about...The urchin may not intentionally harm them but the horses may hurt themselves on the spines
-
Im thinking it has something to do with clumsy ponies around sharp objects.
-
What time would this be going down?
-

Ill bring the balut!!

Nvm thanks!

I haven't seen anyone yet...

I feed rotifers and reef roids 2-3 times daily. Ill also stir the sand bed a bit before feeding. They usually open up when I do so.

Awesome! Im still looking so I may add a couple more frags to the list.

Im no expert on gorgonians but I do have a couple in my tank. If the polyps are brown then they are photosynthetic. I usually feed mine 2-3 times a day. Dont let any algae grow on it at all as this has proven to be fatal for one of my gorgonians...
-
I would like 4 polyps of the fruit loops please. I have cash on hand and im stuck at the shop...mind coming down to RCA? Or anyone wanting to pick my frag up for me?
-
Not a problem at all! Im glad I was able to help you out. Same goes for anyone in need. Were all in this hobby together so we look out for our own.

Looking good!

reefcleaners usually has a good selection of macro algae and theyre a sponsor as well.

Im going to say that looks like a form of dinoflagellates. I had my run in with that stuff...cant treat it like normal algae...you need hair algae cyano or bryopsis to out compete it for nutrients and starve it out. I havent really found anything that will eat the stuff and the stuff gets everywhere. I syphoned it out a little bit everyday or so not taking more than a gallon of water out. Try and keep it contained as much as possible dont let it float around the tank as itll attach somewhere else and grow. I still have a lttle bit here and there but I think its fiannly going away. I find hair algae and bryopsis much easier to deal with so dont mind it growing in the tank right now.
