We are totally frustrated with the charcoal filter we have for our 55g tank. Is there an easy to use brand? Is there an alternate system? We also are running a bio wheel.

Thanks so much. He really is an awesome crab. He is in a rather large shell now, 2 - 2 1/2 " long. (don't know how he moves that thing). I guess we'll just keep an eye on him and see if he is as well behaved as yours.

We just purchased a Blue Knee Hermit Crab and I have questions. Is a Blue Knee the same as an Electric Blue? Is it a bad choise for a reef tank that has corals, anenomes, shrimp, crabs, and assorted friendly fish? The store said they were gentle but then I started reading how destructive they are. HELP????

The pump is only a few months old. Has white, actinic, and moon lights. Stand has doors and with a shelf (excuse the stuff in there, changing tanks). Standard slide in Bio Cube filter. Room for a protein skimmer if you want (not included).

We have been treating for a massive Red Cyno attack.

Even with the Chem Clean, multiple major water changes, scrubbing, water movement, lower lighting hours, etc. it keeps getting worse!

What else can we do

I suddenly have what looks like an egg sack or a cotton ball hanging under my rock. I have soft corals, one anemone, 5 or six common fish and the usual clean up crew. I have had snail eggs, but this doesn't look anything like it. I'll try to get a picture, but it's in a weird position. It is about an inch by 1/2 inch, all white.

What frags do you have left? We love the xenia we got from you. The pink is taking off like crazy doubled in just a few days! The blue is a little slower, but shows signs of getting ready to take off also. Let me know if you are going to frag your frogspan (frogspawn?).

I have some little "growths" that look like sesame seeds. They are on the dead rock only. Can't get a good picture.
