Just did a 30% water change but it looks like my yellow tang isnt doing well. Just sitting on the bottom and the hippo and sail are starting to pick on him. **** I hate loosing fish!

My tank floor started getting covered in a large area 6"x12" with a red algae. It was producing a lot of bubbles. Im due for a water change but what is it? I just mixed it up into the crushed coral. Was that a no no and is it something I need to treat?

I had read that the prime and copper mixed are toxic. Any truth?

So how often should I feed the fish in the QT and how oftern do a water change? Is there a fish hospital where I can drop the fish off and pick them up again in 8 weeks? If anyone want to make some money its an idea.

I have the following fish: Hippo tang Yellow Tang Sail tang Paired clown fish Spotted hawk Two Cromis 1 blue yellow tail damsel Cardinal My DT is 75 Gallons and my tank in the garage is 55 gallons. Will the fish be OK going into a small tank or will they stress and die? Do I have to many fish for the 75 or is that ok? Can I take some LR from the DT and put it into the QT to help with water levels? AAARRRRGGGGHHHH this sucks!!

My coral beauty just died from ich and my hippo tang has it also. Not as severe but hes scratching. I dont have another tank running but i do have a 55 gallon tank with a emporer 500 hob filter. No rock, sand ect. Just the tank. What is need is setting up an emergency QT. Thanks

Man the coral beauty died! She got Ick real bad over the past few days. That sucks.

So everything was looking good. The coral beauty still had a few spots but the hippo looked to be cleared up. Well I got home yesterday from being on the road with work and the coral beauty look horrible. She had white spots everywhere. The hippo has cleared up and is still a pig. This morning I found her dead. I hate loosing fish, man! She was a newer edition I only had her for about a month. What could I have differently. I changed the water and used Garlic. I just dont know. She was one of my favorite fish. **** IT!!!

I have this post on here as a tank and all equipment but Im now just selling the tank and stand and hood is attached to tank. It needs to be resealed on the back bottom. I also have a T5 light system with three lights and balast Il add for $25. This is a large tank. Ill trade for a drilled 75/90 gallon tank also.

I just completed a 20% water change. I added garlic extreme and put a carbon bag into the sump. Fish seem happy I guess Ill see how it goes from here.

Thanks for the suggestions. Im going to do a water change this week and get some garlic. They are both new fish so maybe the stress of changing tanks.

Ok I am new to Saltwater aquariums. Ive owned several tanks just not salt. I am looking at a 135 gallon complete set up in San Antonio. I dont have a clue on how to set it up or move it. Im looking for someone to pick it up and deliver it to Taylor and set it up. If anyone is interested please shot me a message with your fee. Also, is 135 gallons to big for a beginner? Should I wait and get something smaller.Thanks Travis
