I have a 125 gallons long tank and would like to know what is the best type of lighting i should get. I would like to have hard and soft corals but I'm not sure if they would cohab with each other. I've read that the correct way to measure a lights intensity is by lumens or lux. I've also heard from other aquarist that the lighting for a reef tank should be around at least 2-3 times the number of gallons you have in watts. So which is it? Should I go by the amount of lumens or Watts. If anyone can point me in the right way thanks.

My shop will be located on the corner of Stan Schlueter Lp and WS Young in the D&D shopping center. I really don't want to make my shop a big deal as i'm currently not a paying sponser of this site. So i don't want to be seen as stepping on other stores toes. If you know what i mean. Thanks
