Is 10 & 11 really Acro palmata? Or are they Elkhorn montipora? I do believe Acropora palmata is a protected Caribbean species.

The latin name is Rhizotrochus typus.

I would think it is about like a carpet anemone. It is sticky like one if you touch it.

They are pretty agressive. I feed it 2-3 times a week. It is possible they were weak but I sat and watched as one of them was eating and very active and then brushed against a tenicle and it just went limp. It was pretty cool to watch it all play out.

So I got a school of 8 green cromis the other day. They started out fine but just started dissapearing one by one. I was checking out my tank this morning and look what I found. My Rhizo had 2 in its grasp. Jeez. Sorry about the crappy pics all I have is my cell phone.

They are about reef safe as angels go. If I don't feed them they will start to pick at my acans.

Alot of dwarf angels spawn in captivity. The trick is rearing the spawn. Its really not to hard to pair them just get a larger one and a smaller one.

The angel in the 3rd pic is a joculator. I have a pair and they try to spawn every night when the atinics are on.

I have been lazy and have not shared my new tank with anyone. I recently upgraded tanks to an Elos system 120. Its great to finally have a tank that I could be proud of and show off. Anyway here are a few pics.

I have a couple of corals that I need to get rid of. electric green hydno 7" x 7". I have grown this out from a 1 inch frag over the past couple of years and has attached on a 3lb piece of live rock. $60.00 "non indo" Micro Frag $60.00 I grew the mother colony out from 4 polyps. The frag is 7 adult polyps + babies. Pic is of the mother colony I just can't seem to get a good pic of the frag, but it has been fraged for a few months now and is fully healed and eating.

since you have no corals i would cut back the hours the light is on and raise the mg level to 1500ppm and keep it there for a couple of weeks. This is working for me.

It needs may be 6 inches of water to run. It does need a steady water level in your sump to work really good. I would consider trades but I only need a bigger skimmer maybe a euroreef 8-2. If it doesn't sell in the next week i'll post it on ebay and just see what I get.
