Glass sump or acrylic sump?

I tend to stick with glass tanks since its often cheaper, unless the space demands a custom fit sump to get significantly more water volume.
I've also used both together with bulkhead fittings to connect them. A spacer is sometimes needed between them if the glass tank has trim.
