Gets 1-2 feet across. Sorry guys I've never had one that nice, they are scarce and actually quite a gamble as they are less hardy than most clown host anemones.
-
It will be safe in your system, however it will not eat any pests. To be a pest eater, a wrasse must hunt smaller invertebrates; I doubt any such wrasse would turn down a sexy shrimp lunch.

Gigantic carpet anemone. In blue, expect $300+

It would be nice to see some explanation of why only branching species of euphyllia are of concern, or similarly why Candy cane C. echinulata is threatened and not C. furcata, etc. All corals are endangered, but I guess you have to start somewhere. However, if this action criminalizes the captive propagation of species, what terrible threat to the species themselves which may one day ONLY survive in captive aquaria.

We just received 300lbs. of mixed Real Reef rock. I believe that 150lbs. are spoken for, but if any club members want some before it goes into our system I will hold the remainder through Sunday for members to choose from. As Mike mentioned the price for club members will be $7.50/lb. up to 49lbs. and $7.00/lb for 50 or more. The standard box is 60 lbs. Of course if you want rock that is in water and now biologically more active you can choose from any of the rock in our live rock system and still get that price, I will hold that price for two weeks to give members a chance to get down here and and pick pieces.

Each ballast will run 2- 24W HO bulbs, the bulbs themselves are generally 22" long. And we have 10- 12 ballasts left.
Or they would run 2- 39W HO bulbs.

You can use them....they just don't do much in terms of filtration. Freshwater fish can tolerate poorer water conditions.
????
A filter is a filter is a filter. ALL "filters", whether they contain mechanical, chemical, and/or biological filtration, provide filtration for a approximated gallonage, at a moderate stocking level. In many instances under 100 gallons a hang on or two is sufficient. This is NOT to say that they provide an adequate flow rate for the tank, but that they contain the capacity to manage certain parameters in a given size tank for a certain maintenance interval. Nobody wants to have 10 hang on filters on a 300g (a large sump does the job more neatly), but to say that hang ons don't provide filtration is.....

Most likely. They are pretty friendly. They are also called possum wrasses.
